Father of three wins $150K

By CityNews Kitchener Staff

Kitchener's Gregory Cormier is the region's latest big lottery winner.

The 60-year-old father of three won $150,000 with The Bigger Spin Instant game.

It's also not his first big win – he won $10,000 on The Bigger Spin in 2019, and another $10,000 on an instant ticket in 2017.

He discovered his most recent win after a day at work. “I bought my ticket in the morning and went to the retailer to scan my ticket after work,” he shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “I wasn't watching the wheel spin on the screen, so when I turned around and saw the amount I won – I was in disbelief!”

The manufacturing supervisor plans to save his winnings for the time being.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mac's on Pioneer Drive in Kitchener.
