Here is the list of award winning floats from Monday's Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade:
- Festival Award (1st Place) – Red Riding Hood Float Sponsored by Jamieson Car & Truck Rental
- Harvest Award (2nd Place) – KWO Keg Tapping Team
- Sponsors' Award (3rd Place) – Moonshine Band Sponsored by UpTown Waterloo BIA
- Twin Cities Award (Best Spirit/Enthusiasm) – CUPE Float
- Hans & Frieda Award (Use of Animation) – War Amps of Canada Float
- Miss Oktoberfest Award (Best Visual) – Onkel Hans Live Sponsored by Heffner Toyota
- Wunderbar Award (Community Involvement) – Pirate Ship Float Sponsored by Fear Farm
- Piller's Gemuetlichkeit Float Award (Most Gemuetlichkeit) – Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Maypole sponsored by Bauhaus Window Coverings & Draperies
The winning floats were selected by a celebrity panel of judges.
The 2019 judges were: Brian Banks with Nutrition for Learning – Marta Czurylowicz with The Weather Network – Shawn McKelvie, President of the Kitchener Rangers Board – Helene Schramek with Schramek Holdings and Past President of the German-Canadian Remembrance Society.
