Former neurologist facing over 30 sexual assault charges (update)

A former Kitchener neurologist is now facing 34 sexual assault charges.

Waterloo Regional Police allege from January 2010 to February 2017, a physician sexually assaulted patients who were under his care.

Jeffrey Sloka, 50, of Waterloo, was arrested by police on Tuesday morning.

He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday as well.

Police also say the investigation is ongoing, adding they believe there may be more victims.

In April 2019, Sloka's licence was revoked by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario over allegations of sexual misconduct and assault, involving three women.

The former neurologist's practice was based out of Grand River Hospital.
