Ontario Provincial Police now say a Cambridge woman was killed in a collision on Highway 6 South on Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Lori Sellner.
The head-on crash, which involved an SUV and minivan, happened between Freelton Road and Concession 11 around 5:30 p.m.
Ontario Provincial Police say charges are not being laid at this time, but officers will be continuing to look into the cause of the collision.
“We are also paying particular attention to the potential distraction, or cellphone use that may or may not have been used at the time. That is still part of the on-going investigation.” said OPP Sergeant, Kerry Schmidt.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 19-year-old man, suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
