Zehrs Markets co-founder dies

Lester Zehr helped start the Zehrs grocery store chain in 1950, with a store on Highland Road in Kitchener.
Zehr, who lived in Waterloo, passed away Tuesday at age 91.
He stayed on with the grocery store chain after it was purchased by Loblaw in 1963.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the Erb and Good Funeral Home in Waterloo.
A private funeral will be held at a later date.
