Waterloo Region to Toronto can now be done by air

FlyGTA Airlines has flown out of the Region of Waterloo International Airport to downtown Toronto, for the first time.

The 18 minute flight, which was full, departed at 7:45 a.m. on Monday.

A one-way ticket costs $129. The return flight leaves Toronto at 5:30 p.m.

570’s Jeff Pickel was on the inaugural flight.
