Youths apprehended after horse statue removed in Erin

A group of youths have now been identified after they removed a horse statue from McMullan Park in Erin.
The group loaded the statue onto a small hatchback car and drove it a short distance to the local high school.
Once at the school the group hoisted the statue up on to the roof of the high school, and displayed it at the front entrance for all to see.
The statue has been repaired and returned.
All parties involved are satisfied that this was no more than a prank and these youths are not responsible for other mischievous incidents happening in Erin.
The names of the youths can not be released due to their age they fall under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The OPP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this.
