Reports of dangerous driving leads to man being arrested on island

Police were in the Lobsinger Line and Three Bridges Road area on July 30, at 11:00 a.m., responding to a wellbeing check for a man reported to be in distress.

When officers arrived at his location, the Waterloo man fled the area in a vehicle. Police say they did not pursue him.

Not long after, police say they received reports of a vehicle being driven dangerously nearby. In a news release, police added the vehicle nearly hit a pedestrian in the Three Bridge Road and Henry Street area, before driving through a cornfield.
