Both drivers have been charged in a two-vehicle crash that closed a busy Cambridge intersection at the height of rush hour traffic, Tuesday afternoon.
Regional Police say injuries were minor when a car collided with a minivan on Hespeler Road at Bishop Street, which was attempting to turn left.
But the collision destroyed both vehicles, and closed the northbound lanes of Hespeler for about four and a half hours, as officers investigated.
One driver has since been charged with careless driving; the other with making an unsafe turn.
Police say alcohol was not a factor.
