Kitchener man dies after tractor roll-over on New Dundee Road

A Kitchener man is dead after a tractor roll-over near New Dundee.

The 75-year-old man was using the tractor to cut grass on the property.

Regional Police say the tractor with a rear mounted mower was going up a steep incline when it tipped over, trapping the man underneath.

The roll-over happened just after 7 p.m. last night on New Dundee Road near Fischer Hallman.

Several people passing by on New Dundee Road pulled over and were able to free the man from underneath the tractor and gave him CPR.

EMS rushed the 75-year-old to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police closed News Dundee Road at Fischer Hallman for several hours last night, it has since fully reopened.
