Guelph asks for residents help with the new Sloan Hill Park designs

The City of Guelph has announced that the final designs of the new Sloan Hill Park are almost finished. As a result, the city has released a survey for residents to share some of their ideas for the park’s final designs.

The focus of this survey is to ask the local community what playground equipment they would like to see. On Sept. 10, the City of Guelph opened their survey where residents can choose between two finalized designs.

The survey also gives residents a chance to share what they like and dislike about each park, while adding where they would like to see trees and benches placed.

The new park will be located at 106 Beaumont Crescent in Guelph.

Though, this isn’t the first time that the city has asked for the community’s input on the project. Earlier this year a survey was released to help the city prepare the parking lot layout.

The survey will be open until Oct. 1, where the final decisions will then be made. The City of Guelph says that construction for the park is expected to begin in 2027 around spring, with it scheduled to end in fall of the same year.
