Teen animators from Kitchener school win two Walt Disney TAFI awards

A group of young animators from Waterloo Region are celebrating after they picked up a pair of awards from an international festival hosted by Disney.
Students from the Kitchener SheepDog Animation School headed to San Francisco for the weekend for the annual Teen Animation Festival International at the Walt Disney Family Museum.
It was a successful trip for the local school as they were handed two awards — one for their SheepDog Animation School Reel, and another for their short film ‘Most Wanted’.

Disney hosts the ‘TAFI’ awards annually to help celebrate young animators around the world that are between the ages of 13 and 18.
