Police have charged a 21-year-old Guelph man with assault following an incident in that city last month.
Guelph Police say a cab driver was assaulted after dropping off a man at Chancellors Way on January 28nd just after midnight.
The cab driver and man had an issue over an unpaid fare, but after the payment was made, the man punched the driver in the face several times before leaving the area.
21-year-old Samuel Nieuwhof has been charged with assault and will appear in court in April.
