Provincial funding bringing more jobs to Guelph Manufacturing

Some great economic news for Guelph.

Ontario is partnering with Guelph Manufacturing to allow the company to buy new equipment, and create 31 new jobs, as well as keep 523 positions.

The company, which specializes in welding, metal stamping, and tube and wire forming for the automotive industry, is receiving a grant of $874,800 from the province.

This grant is coming from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund, with the project expected to be completed in 2020.

Guelph Manufacturing is investing over $8.7 million to increase its manufacturing capabilities.

The hope from this funding is that more jobs will be provided, and production will become more efficient to better meet the needs of their clients.
