Open/closed Thanksgiving weekend

Most local businesses and government services are closed Thanksgiving Day Monday.
Among them: Waterloo Region’s big malls: Fairview Park, Conestoga and Cambridge Centre.
If you do want to pick up a few items, a number of businesses in St. Jacobs are open on Monday.
All outlets of The Beer Store are closed as are most LCBO outlets, although some locally-owned agency stores may be open.
Grand River Transit will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
There is regular garbage, blue box and green bin pick up on Monday.
