Man arrested after purse snatching in Kitchener

A word of caution from Regional Police, not to pick up strangers.

Police say a woman in Kitchener gave a man a lift last night and dropped him off at a plaza.

Before he got out of the vehicle, police say he apologized and then grabbed her purse.

He took cash from her wallet and then fled.

Police say a 22-year-old Kitchener man was arrested a short time later and faces a number of charges.
