As the province moves closer to putting PTSD support legislation into place for First Responders, the figures highlight the daily struggle going on behind the badge.
The Tema Conter Memorial Trust/ Heroes Are Human says already, just a little more than month into
2016, 10 first responders and 2 military member have died by suicide.
These are local supports in place, and help province-wide.
