Cambridge multiplex design unveiled

More than 30 people stopped by Cambridge City Hall to give feedback and learn more about the new multiplex coming to the city Thursday night.
The plan includes four ice pads, a gymnasium, an aquatics complex, activity rooms, a fitness track and a fitness room
It also includes some space for use by Conestoga College.
“What we saw tonight (Thursday) is a vision for what the facility could look like and what it could include. The detailed design work still needs to be done,” explained Councillor Frank Monteiro, Chair of the Multiplex Task Force.
“We got some helpful feedback about the kinds of sports facilities members of the public would like to see at the Multiplex. This input will help us build a facility that the whole city can be proud of,”
The Multiplex Task Force will now meet on November 24th to approve the concept plan.
