Golden Hawks fall to Mustangs in OUA semifinal

It was a rough day for the Laurier Golden Hawks.
The Hawks were just one win away from the Yates Cup final when they went into yesterday afternoon’s OUA semifinal.
The men’s football team gave Western all they had, but in the end, it wasn’t enough.
The Hawks lost 32-18 to the Mustangs in the semifinal.
It was a frustrating outing for running back Dillon Campbell, who rolled his ankle in the first half and didn’t return.
The defeat marked Laurier’s 12th straight loss to Western, going back to 2006.
