Man arrested after Tuesday morning stabbing in Kitchener

A Kitchener man is in hospital being treated for stab wounds after an early morning incident in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police say the 32-year-old was involved in an altercation with another man in the Highland Road area around 2:30am on Tuesday.

He suffered injuries to his face and abdomen.

They are described as not life threatening.

A 53-year-old Kitchener man is charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
