Laurier student hit in the eye with bb from pellet gun

A Wilfrid Laurier University student is suffering from what are being described as serious injuries after being struck in the eye by a bb fired from a pellet gun.

Waterloo Regional Police say she was shot while walking on King Street near Hickory in Waterloo just before 6pm Monday.

Police are still looking for the shooter and ask anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
