Bail denied in Woolwich toxic waste case

There will be no bail for a Kitchener man facing numerous charges, after allegedly dumping 24 barrels of toxic waste at a Woolwich property.

51-year-old Donald Hector was charged last week with mischief to property over $5,000, after sugar bush owner Michelle Shannon discovered the barrels on her property in May.

According to The Record, he was ordered to remain behind bars on Monday.

He also faces charges of extortion and two charges of uttering threats.
