Some beautiful weather…followed by some not so beautiful weather in Waterloo Region. The forecast has taken a cold, rainy, windy turn – with a mix of sun, cloud and rain in the forecast. If you haven’t already…many are ready to get outside and start planting their gardens – whether it’s flowers, plants, fruits or vegetables. Mark Cullen joins us now to share gardening tips and takes your questions via e-mail and phone. He will also be speaking at a community fundraiser in Wellesley on Friday at 5 PM. The Green File airs Thursdays 8:12am and 4:12pm, Fridays 7:12am and 5:12pm, Saturdays 8:12am and 10:12am. Sundays 9:12am and 11:12am.

David Letterman signs off for good on tonight’s “Late Show” on CBS. On the second to last show Letterman had some of his favourites visit. Bill Murray, who was the first guest ever on Letterman’s show, jumped out of a huge cake, giving Dave a big icing-covered hug. Regis Philbin made a last appearance, too. He’s been Letterman’s guest more than anyone else, some 150 times. Letterman’s been hosting late-night talk shows for more than 32 years, the longest tenure in the business.
