Kitchener man facing slew of weapons charges

A Kitchener man faces several charges after a Waterloo Regional Police officer on patrol spotted a man carrying a number of weapons.

Police say it happened around 7:30pm Monday along King Street East in Kitchener.

The man allegedly was carrying a steel baton, mace and several knives around his waist.

A 49-year-old faces numerous weapons charges as well as a drug charge.
