St. Louis surprised only one former Everest student enrolled in PSW program

St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education Centre in Kitchener says they’re surprised only one former Everest College student is currently enrolled in their PSW program.
The flexible Personal Support Worker program is tailored to those students who were left in limbo after the college closed all campuses in Ontario.
Principal at the school, Paul Cox tells 570 News – he’s hoping more students will come forward to finish their schooling.
“The Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities have recent sent out letters to everyone of the displaced Everest students outlining their financial options. I’m hoping those students that were not able to come to us in the start can rethink their options.”
He adds the amount students will pay depends on their level of education.
“Our full-time program for students that start with us at St. Louis is $1,000 but we’ve been flexible and usually its ranging from $500-$1,000 for the displaced Everest students depending where they started, and how much they have done at Everest.”
Former students were were to receive a letter from the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities this week outlining their financial options.
Cox hopes this will encourage more students to come forward and complete their education.
