12:00 – It’s flu season! Free flu shots available from Region of Waterloo Public Health.

Public Health will be offering clinics that are geared towards families with children under 5 and those without a family doctor. Along with the clinics offered through Public Health you can get your Flu shot through doctors’ offices, pharmacies, and walk-in health clinics.
12:30 – November is woman abuse awareness month

WCSWR Hosted a fundraiser last night for Haven House, guest speaker was Carolyn Cox, she lived in an abusive marriage for over 40 years and was held captive in her own home. She shared her experience and how she has moved beyond violence. This month focuses on bringing awareness to this issue, which is very much prevalent in our own community.
