Provincial Police have announced 60 arrests following a massive child pornography bust.
Three of those accused are from Waterloo Region:
45-year-old Dean Vucenovic of Kitchener is facing a charge of possession of child pornography and making child pornography available. 26-year-old Jonathan McDonald of Cambridge and 48-year-old Raymond Clemens also of Cambridge are facing the same charges.
OPP say a total of 99 search warrants were executed, resulting in 249 charges.
Police say they also identified 14 child victims during their investigation.
“This investigation highlights the pervasiveness of Internet-based dangers of child luring, sexual exploitation and abuse. Children, teens and parents also have a responsibility to educate themselves to ensure their Internet and social networking experiences can be as rewarding as they want it to be and as safe as it needs to be. Because every child matters…everywhere.” Inspector Scott Naylor, Manager – OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit.
OPP are continuing their investigation and say additional arrests are pending.
