Police continue search for missing Kitchener man

Regional Police say they’re becoming “increasingly concerned” as they have yet to locate a missing man.
75-year-old Samuel Houston was last seen Sunday morning at 9 am, and he left home on foot. Police say he walks with a noticeable limp.
So far police say they’ve been unable to locate him, and they’re worried he may not have had necessary heart medication on him when he left.
Police say they’ve conducted a ground search of Stanley Park, and Franklin Street North and Dreger Avenue near Ottawa Street.
“Our hope is that we’re going to still find him safe and alive” says Regional Police Spokesman, Olaf Heinzel. “The difficulty is that the longer that he’s out there and exposed the elements, it doesn’t matter if he’s 75-years-old or a younger person, being exposed to the elements for days on end, in particularly at nighttime, is detrimental to a person’s health.”
He is described as a white male, 5’11”, 210 lbs, with grey hair and wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a red and blue golf shirt and beige slacks. He may have carrying a dark coloured backpack and a beige jacket.
