Damage estimated at $150,000 for house fire in Kitchener

Emergency crews were called to a fire at 5:20 this morning on Krug St in Kitchener.
One occupant was taken to hospital, its unclear if it was a fire related injury or a pre existing medical condition. No one else was hurt.
Fire Platoon Greg Willett – tells 570 an investigator is currently on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
“We do not believe the fire is suspicious in nature but a cause has not been determined at this time.”
Willet says damage is pretty extensive on the second floor of the house, estimating at $150,000 dollars.
