Fans are ready for World Cup action! The Duke of Wellington in Waterloo is ‘a sea of orange’ as soccer enthusiasts have gathered to watch the Netherlands take on Argentina in semifinal play.
Desee Fatkin, the owner of the pub, tells 570 News she’s excited for the match.
“Let’s hope that the Dutch get through and that it’s Germany and Holland for the final. If we end up with that, we’re going to get a big screen TV out on the patio so we can see the game everywhere.”
Dutch fans are feeling good about their chances, as Argentina’s Angel Di Maria is out with an injury.
Whichever team wins today’s game will face off against Germany on Sunday at 3 PM.
