The spring of 2014 is almost over.
Today marks the last full day of the season, with summer arriving at 6:51 tomorrow morning.
570 News weather specialist John Wilson says, overall, it was a pretty normal spring, with average temperatures from late March to early June and precipitation about 85 per cent of normal.
As for the season ahead, Wilson expects average precipitation while temperatures should be at or slightly below normal.
He says the cold winter means the Great Lakes are still cooler than normal so any prolonged heatwaves are unlikely.
We are also looking at 15 hours, 25 minutes and 5 seconds of daylight tomorrow making that the longest day of the year.
