Kitchener man arrested and charged for drug trafficking

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested and charged one man after an drug investigation.
Police say it was just before 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon that they arrested two men on Regina Street North as part of the ongoing investigation.
In the process, police seized methamphetamine, prescription drugs and stolen property.
One man was released at the scene, but the other, a 28-year-old man from Kitchener was arrested and remains in custody.
He’s facing a number of charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
