Frost Advisory in effect

A frost advisory remains in effect for Waterloo Region and surrounding areas after low temperatures overnight.
Environment Canada issued the alert Friday as the temperature dropped to one degree last night.
Officials say frost has the potential to damage fruit trees and vegetable plants.
The cold weather won’t last though – we’re expected to see sunny skies and a high of 11 today.
It will be sunny again tomorrow, with a high of 17 degrees.
