OPP recover stolen vehicle from Guelph on 401 in Toronto

The long arm of the law stretches from Guelph all the way to Toronto.
Guelph Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the Willow Road area late yesterday afternoon.
The alleged thief sped off before their arrival, but he didn’t get far as the car ended up in a ditch along the Hanlon.
At this point, police say a Good Samaritan stopped to help, but that person’s car was then stolen.
The caper ended when Port Credit OPP stopped the vehicle in the 401/Dixon Road area.
A 39-year-old Guelph man is facing numerous changes including two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and driving while under suspension.
