How local runners did at the Boston Marathon

Of the 24 hundred Canadian runners who took part in Monday’s Boston Marathon, there were roughly 60 runners from Waterloo Region and Guelph.
Out of those local runners, Charles Prange of Kitchener had the fastest time of 2:45. Paul Kemp of Waterloo was second with 2:55 and Stefan Gudmundson of Guelph was third with a time of 3:05.
The fastest local female finisher was Andrea Sweny of Kitchener, with a time of 3:33.
