Taxes on the rise in Cambridge

Cambridge city council has formally passed its 2014 budget.
This morning’s Record report the city’s portion of the property tax bill will rise 1.6 per cent, which is slightly above the target of 1.5 per cent.
That figure includes the storm water fee.
For the average homeowner, that works out to just under $20 more this year.
