Damage estimated at $400,000 after Tuesday night fire in Kitchener

Kitchener Fire Department are still investigating a fire on Veronica Drive Tuesday night, with damage estimated at $400,000.
Assistant Platoon Chief Robert Gilmore tells 570News that the lone male occupant was arrested under the Mental Health act.
The man reportedly ended up in a hot tub when Police and EMS arrived, and was admitted to Grand River Hospital overnight for a mental health evaluation.
Crews have been on scene all day to try and determine the cause of the blaze.
