New technology is headed our way and it’s making some uneasy.
NameTag is a new app that will provide information on anyone with nothing but a photo.
The app searches public databases such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn and finds the person’s name, occupation and access to their social media profiles instantly.
Independent Tech Analyst Carmi Levy tells 570’s Gary Doyle show it was only a matter of time until a company picked up on all the personal information we’ve made public.
“It breaks down another barrier of privacy, it opens up another Pandora’s Box if you will…you never know whose looking at you…who can pick up a picture of you and identify you.”
The App will soon be available to download on android and iOS.
