Power outage issues close Waterloo theatre for the week

A surprise closure for local movie lovers this weekend has turned into a weeklong shutdown.
Landmark Cinemas Waterloo at The Boardwalk will be closed until at least Friday, according to a social media post by the group.
“Hi Movie Lovers! With the continued power outage issues, we will remain closed until Friday, February 6th,” read the post.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
The location’s phones also remain down.
Officials stressed any tickets or vouchers already purchased will be refunded.
Updates to the situation will be posted on the Landmark Cinema Facebook page and website.
