A busy day is ahead for Waterloo city councillors.
They’ll be tackling the 2014 operating and capital budgets at a committee meeting this afternoon, then tonight, the full council is expected to give final approval.
Council is also expected to approve, in principle, the 2015 to 2022 capital forecast.
At Kitchener City Hall, council is expected to vote on the Victoria Park Statue Project, and the municipal sponsorship strategy.
It’s also preparing to reach out to residents when it comes to natural gas prices.
It’s gearing up to launch its Kitchener Utilities customer satisfaction survey early next year.
The survey will collect feedback on the city’s natural gas supply program, specifically preferences regarding gas rates and whether a stable or variable model is preferred.
Tonight’s council meeting will be televised live on Rogers TV, beginning at 7 p.m.
