A wall of storms packing snow, sleet and rain could upend holiday travel plans for millions of Americans taking to the roads and skies for Thanksgiving.
So far, deadly storms barrelling into the U-S mid-Atlantic and Northeast have not resulted in many flight cancellations, but the weather will worsen within hours.
Most of Atlantic Canada is bracing for heavy rain and wind gusts near 100 kilometres per hour.
The Bearskin Airlines flight from Ottawa to the Region of Waterloo International Airport won’t arrive until 9:55am, it was due here at 8:30.
