The renovated Schneiders “Wiener Beacon” sign has been unveiled along the 401 near Highway 6.
Parent Company Maple Leaf Foods says it includes better temperature and time indicators, improved lighting and it’s more energy efficient.
It also includes a message board in which people can submit a personal Facebook message between now and September 11th.
The company says 52 messages will be selected and posted on the sign and those people will receive a special bonus gift.
