Kitchener furniture plant closing

Grim news for 230 workers at a Kitchener furniture plant.

Knape and Vogt Waterloo has announced it will close its Manitou Drive facility and move the work to its operations in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Record reports the closure will happen over the next 12 to 18 months.

Knape and Vogt Waterloo used to be known as Waterloo Furniture Components.
