You can ring in the New Year in downtown Kitchener today: the Lunar New Year.

You can check out spectacular entertainment, featuring talent from the local Chinese community.
Today, a concert featuring students from the KW Chinese Folk Music Centre will mark the official first day of the Lunar New Year.
It’s at THEMUSEUM and starts at 11:30 a.m.
