4pm – Nexen Deal
A deal has been approved which sees a multi-billion-dollar takeover of Nexen by State-owned China National Offshore Oil Company. The Chinese Government is saying this deal is a win-win co-operation that benefits both Canada and China.

4:30pm – IKEA Monkey
The human parents of Darwin ‘The Ikea Monkey’ want him back and will go to court if needed. The five month old Monkey was brought to a Sanctuary in Sunderland Ontario and his human mother says he doesn’t get along well with his own kind. Now Yasmin Nakhuda is consulting with a lawyer to see how much custody she can gain.
