Nativity scene returns to Stone Road Mall

After much disappointment from community members, officials with Stone Road Mall in Guelph have decided to restore the nativity scene.
The nativity scene has been a part of their Christmas celebration for the past nine years.
Mall management says the next step is to ask the church to which they donated the scene to if they’ll return it.
Due to the public outcry over its removal, staff met last night to see if they could find a place in the mall for the nativity scene.
The mall is planning a nativity scene unveiling for this Saturday at 11 am.
