3pm Court Tweeting A national guideline has been proposed by a group of legal experts representing the Canadian Centre for Court Technology that will see social media allowed in court rooms across Canada. Requests have been more frequent over the years for this to be across Canada and now finally a proposal has been drawn up. A national survey is showed that most judges, defense and Crown lawyers, court administrators and journalists are up for this. Q: Do you think social media should be allowed in court rooms? 3:30pm Israel Hamas fired dozens of rockets into southern Israel on Thursday which resulted in three people being killed. Israel then launched numerous air strikes on the Gaza strip. A day earlier, Israel assassinated Hamas’s military mastermind as well as killing 13 other people. 100 others were wounded. The UN Security Council called for a halt to the violence but took no action. Q: Is Israel doing the right thing?
