In the second round of the OHL playoffs, Kitchener takes game one with a 2-0 win over Plymouth.

570’s Mike Farwell says this win not only offers a confidence boost, but gives the Rangers home ice advantage over the Whalers.

Tobias Rieder and Ben Thomson each scored for the Rangers while Michael Catenacci assisted on both.

John Gibson got his first career playoff shut-out.

Game two of the Western Conference semi-final is Sunday night in Kitchener.
