Mild and dry weather leads to grass fire

Perhaps it’s a sign of how mild and dry it is as of late.
Regional Police and Kitchener fire had to contend with a grass fire yesterday afternoon.
It broke out in a field off Homer Watson near the college just before five.
The road was closed for a short period until the blaze was put out.
