Wintry weather is headed our way

Winter appears poised to make a nasty return to Waterloo Region and much of southern Ontario.
A cold front is expected to arrive later today changing the rain to snow and to freezing rain in some areas.
570 News Weather Specialist John Wilson says we could get up to 4 centimetres of snow tonight with more expected tomorrow.
The amount tomorrow however is up in the air with the total accumulation depending greatly on whether or not we get a squall.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for our area and much of southern Ontario.
It says the area northeast of Georgian Bay could get the most snow: up to 15 centimetres, but it adds “there is considerable uncertainty as to the exact swath of heavy snow.”
It says warnings may be issued as the path becomes more certain.
